SixOne apps in your menu bar.
Six subscriptions.
A screenshot tool, a recorder, a clipboard manager, an annotation app, dictation and a way to share. Each with its own icon, its own account and its own monthly fee. catu does all of it from one icon, and it is free on your Mac.
Any area, any window.
One shortcut.
Press ⇧⌘2 and drag a frame, or click a window to take it whole with its shadow. The picture is on your clipboard before you let go.
- Area, window or the whole screen, at full Retina size
- Repeat the last area with one key
- The screen holds still while you frame it
- Saved to a folder of your choosing, copied, and in your history
Sixteen tools.
No second app.
The editor opens on the capture. Point at the thing, hide the secret, number the steps, then copy it back and close.
- Arrows, lines, shapes, pen, highlighter, text and numbered steps
- Pixelate, blur or hide only the text, for anything private
- A magnifier for small details and a spotlight that dims the rest
- Remove an object, crop to a ratio, pin the result on top
The whole page,
in one picture.
Frame a window, scroll down, and catu stitches what scrolls past into one tall image. Long chats, settings pages and full articles, without a browser extension.
- Scroll by hand, as fast as reads well
- Sticky headers and footers appear once
- Up to 20 000 pixels tall
Text in a picture
is still text.
Press ⇧⌘5 and frame the words: an error in a video, a number in a PDF, a line in someone else’s screen share. The text is on your clipboard, laid out as it was.
- Reads the languages you choose, on this Mac
- Reads QR codes too
- A key read off the screen is pasted but never kept
Record, stop,
the link is ready.
Press ⇧⌘3, pick an area or a window, and talk. The recording uploads as it goes, so the link is on your clipboard the moment you stop, and the file is in your recordings folder too.
- Your camera in a bubble you can move and size
- Microphone and the Mac's own sound
- Pause, or throw the take away and start again
- Uploads while you record, titled after the window you recorded
Everything you copied.
Only on your Mac.
Click the menu-bar icon and the last things you copied are there: text, links, images, files and colours. It is kept in memory by default; saving it to disk is your choice, and encrypted.
- Search, filter by kind, pin what you reuse
- ⌘1 to ⌘9 to paste, or paste as plain text
- Private Mode stops it for as long as you need
- Password managers and key-shaped text are never recorded
Hold ⌥Space and talk.
Let go and it’s ready to paste.
Privacy comes first. Apple’s speech recognition and Apple Intelligence do the work on your Mac, not on a server, so nothing you say leaves it. Speak a message, a reply or a note and it is ready on your clipboard, cleaned up and punctuated. The shortcut is yours to change in Settings.
- Heard and tidied by Apple Intelligence, on this Mac
- Your voice is never uploaded and no audio is kept
- The words go nowhere unless you share or sync them
- Works in any app: press ⌘V where you want it
Copy on one Mac.
Paste on the other.
Turn on clipboard sync and what you copy reaches your other devices, sealed with a key only they hold. Link a phone or a browser with a QR code and a six-letter code.
- Your Macs, your phone and the browser
- Files up to 200 MB travel with it
- Encrypted on the device; catu cannot read it
- A new Mac on your Apple ID is ready by itself
Copy a file in Finder.
Paste a link.
Press ⌘C on a file in Finder and it is in your catu history. Click the link button next to it, and the download link is on your clipboard as soon as the upload ends. No attachment limits, no shared drive, no upload page.
- Any kind of file, up to 200 MB
- Opens as a download page in any browser, no account needed
- Encrypted on your Mac before it uploads
- Links expire when you choose, or never
Never reach
for the mouse.
Every capture is a shortcut away, and each one can be changed in catu’s settings.
We can’t read your captures.
And nothing learns from them.
